Organic Solvent Classification

  1. First Category Organic Solvents: Refers to organic solvents specified under Item 1 of Appendix 1.

  2. Second Category Organic Solvents: Refers to organic solvents specified under Item 2 of Appendix 1.

  3. Third Category Organic Solvents: Refers to organic solvents specified under Item 3 of Appendix 1.

Precautions

  1. Conduct an organic solvent operation checklist before commencing work.

  2. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.

  3. Smoking or eating is strictly prohibited in organic solvent operation areas, and this prohibition must be clearly displayed in a visible location.

  4. Each operation site must be equipped with enclosed equipment or local exhaust ventilation systems.
